Caneoing near Halfway Point

The area around Cyprus Lake is ideal for the dayhiker, canoeing and kayaking. Two relatively easy loops lead from the Cyprus Lake campground out to Halfway Point and the Grotto, a sea cave that can be accessed by climbing down the cliff.

The trail continues westward past Indian Cove, and then splits. One branch leads inward toward sunken Marr Lake, and the Cyprus Lake campground, and the other branch follows the Bruce Trail towards Loon Lake and Tobermory, the northern terminus of the Bruce Trail.
