Apotek is a beautiful restaraunt in an old pharmacy in the heart of Reykjavík City Center. Our lunch was delicious, fresh salmon, a light pumpkin soup, and a delectable salad. A few speeches were made, and at each place setting there was a color photograph of the group shot taken the day before on the glacier! We were sad to be leaving Iceland so soon, after having been treated so hospitably by the friendly Icelandic citizens.

After leaving the restaurant, we took the bus back to the hotel to finish packing and head for the airport. On the way, Inga pointed out a house near the waater that had been used to host the 1986 summit meeting between Ronald Reagand Mikhail Gorbachev.
