Flowers

We saw many flowers along the trail, including two rare pink ladyslipper orchids in the swampy area near Mosquito Falls. Springtime or early summer is definitely the best time to visit the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, when the bugs and tourists are few, and the wildflowers are in full bloom.
