History is important to our family. My father, Dr. Watson Parker,
is one of the most thoughtful Western historians of his time, having
written several engaging books regarding mining and the culture
of the Black Hills mining era. His Black
Hills Ghost Towns and Others, with considerable help from Hugh
Lambert, is a oft-printed classic.
My mother, Olga Glassman Parker, an able historian in her own right,
has spent many hours compiling a personal history of her family,
as well as assisting Dad in his endeavors.
If you're interested in Black Hills history or in the history of
Palmer Gulch Lodge, the Palmer Gulch
Historical Society pages provide much lore.
Other relevant topics here include my own personal work, which
includes a body of work spanning more than twenty years. It includes
my work as an advertising
and interactive professional, and work as a cinematographer
and director. You can also view my resume
